The receiving address is linked to a European exchange that markets itself as “sanctions-compliant.” The EU investigation into aluminum import sanctions—temporarily suspended in 2023—has just issued its final report. The narrative in Brussels is predictable: cryptocurrency enabled the circumvention.
The data disagrees.
